Who is this tool for?▸
This tool is designed for owners and managers of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in G7 countries, whether your business is already using AI, actively considering it, or has not yet started. No technical expertise is required.
How long does it take?▸
The questionnaire takes approximately five minutes to complete. It covers your business profile, your current or planned use of AI, and the main obstacles you face in adopting or scaling it.
What happens to my data?▸
No data is collected, stored, or transmitted. All responses are processed locally within your browser and are never sent to any server.
What will I get at the end?▸
At the end of the questionnaire, you will receive a profile of your business's AI readiness, indicating where your business currently stands relative to the OECD taxonomy for SME AI adoption, along with a curated selection of government support programmes and initiatives available in your country.
How was this tool developed?▸
This tool was developed by the OECD under the 2026 French G7 Presidency, building on the SME AI Adoption Blueprint adopted under the 2025 Canadian G7 Presidency. It applies the OECD taxonomy for SME AI readiness to map businesses to a profile and match them with relevant support.
The policy information provided draws on the OECD.AI Policy Navigator and supplementary external research.
As the tool is in a pilot phase, its content has undergone only preliminary validation by G7 governments as of May 2026. It may therefore be incomplete, contain inaccuracies or not reflect the most recent developments.
